Crystal structure of the titin domains z1z2 in complex with telethonin
The structure was published by Zou, P., Pinotsis, N., Lange, S., et al., Mayans, O.M., Gautel, M., and Wilmanns, M., in 2006 in a paper entitled "Palindromic assembly of the giant muscle protein titin in the sarcomeric Z-disk" (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.445 Å and deposited in 2004.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
This PDB entry contains a complex of 2 biomacromolecules, namely N2B-TITIN ISOFORM and TELETHONIN.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule most likely forms heterotrimers.
