Solution structure of the zinc finger domain of TFIIE alpha
The structure was published by Okuda, M., Tanaka, A., Arai, Y., et al., Hanaoka, F., Ohkuma, Y., and Nishimura, Y., in 2004 in a paper entitled "A novel zinc finger structure in the large subunit of human general transcription factor TFIIE." (abstract).
The structure was determined using NMR spectroscopy and deposited in 2004.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of Transcription initiation factor IIE, alpha subunit. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P29083 (T2EA_HUMAN). The sample contained 62 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 62 residues 62 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
