STRUCTURE OF HUMAN PDK1 KINASE DOMAIN IN COMPLEX WITH BIM-2
The structure was published by Komander, D., Kular, G.S., Schuttelkopf, A.W., et al., Kozikowski, A.P., Alessi, D.R., and Van Aalten, D.M.F., in 2004 in a paper entitled "Interactions of Ly333531 and Other Bisindolyl Maleimide Inhibitors with Pdk1" (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.9 Å and deposited in 2003.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of 3-PHOSPHOINOSITIDE DEPENDENT PROTEIN KINASE-1. This molecule has the UniProt identifier O15530 (PDPK1_HUMAN). The sample contained 310 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 310 residues 280 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
