Structure of a pectate lyase from Azospirillum irakense
The structure was published by Novoa De Armas, H., Verboven, C., De Ranter, C., et al., Vande Broek, A., Vanderleyden, J., and Rabijns, A., in 2004 in a paper entitled "Azospirillum irakense pectate lyase displays a toroidal fold." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.65 Å and deposited in 2003.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of pectate lyase. This molecule has the UniProt identifier Q9X592 (Q9X592_AZOIR). The sample contained 408 residues which is 94% of the natural sequence. Out of 408 residues 384 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
