NMR structure of the N-terminal domain of trout cardiac troponin C at 7 C

The structure was published by Blumenschein, T.M., Gillis, T.E., Tibbits, G.F., and Sykes, B.D., in 2004 in a paper entitled "Effect of temperature on the structure of trout troponin C" (abstract).

The structure was determined using NMR spectroscopy and deposited in 2003.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of troponin C. This molecule has the UniProt identifier Q7ZZB9 (Q7ZZB9_ONCMY)search. The sample contained 89 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 89 residues 89 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
