Crystallographic analysis of the interaction of the glucocorticoid receptor with DNA
The structure was published by Luisi, B.F., Xu, W.X., Otwinowski, Z., Freedman, L.P., Yamamoto, K.R., and Sigler, P.B., in 1991 in a paper entitled "Crystallographic Analysis of the Interaction of The Glucocorticoid Receptor with DNA" (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.5 Å and deposited in 2003.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
This PDB entry contains a complex of 2 biomacromolecules, namely 5'-D(*CP*CP*AP*GP*AP*AP*CP*AP*TP*CP*GP*AP*TP*GP*TP*TP*CP*TP*G)-3' and Glucocorticoid receptor.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule most likely forms heterotetramers.
