PDB entry 1r3jpotassium channel KcsA-Fab complex in high concentration of Tl+The structure was published by Zhou, Y. and MacKinnon, R., in 2003 in a paper entitled "The occupancy of ions in the K+ selectivity filter: Charge balance and coupling of ion binding to a protein conformational change underlie high conduction rates" (abstract). This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.9 Å and deposited in 2003. The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited. This PDB entry contains a complex of 3 biomacromolecules, namely Antibody Fab fragment light chain, Antibody Fab fragment heavy chain, and Voltage-gated potassium channel. It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list. The most likely quaternary structure is a 12meric assembly. The following tables show cross-reference information to other databases (to obtain a list of all PDB entries sharing the same property or classification, click on the magnifying glass icon):
