Solution structure of fragment (25-35) of beta amyloid peptide in SDS micellar solution
The structure was published by D'Ursi, A.M., Armenante, M.R., Guerrini, R., Salvadori, S., Sorrentino, G., and Picone, D., in 2004 in a paper entitled "Solution structure of amyloid beta-peptide (25-35) in different media" (abstract).
The structure was determined using NMR spectroscopy and deposited in 2003.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of 11-mer peptide from Amyloid beta A4 protein. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P05067 (A4_HUMAN). The sample contained 11 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 11 residues 11 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
