1q91 Summary

Crystal structure of human mitochondrial deoxyribonucleotidase in complex with the inhibitor DPB-T

The structure was published by Rinaldo-Matthis, A., Rampazzo, C., Balzarini, J., Reichard, P., Bianchi, V., and Nordlund, P., in 2004 in a paper entitled "Crystal structures of the mitochondrial deoxyribonucleotidase in complex with two specific inhibitors" (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.6 Å and deposited in 2003.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of 5(3)-deoxyribonucleotidase. This molecule has the UniProt identifier Q9NPB1 (NT5M_HUMAN)search. The sample contained 197 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 197 residues 194 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
