Candida Albicans Phosphomannose Isomerase

The structure was published by Cleasby, A., Wonacott, A., Skarzynski, T., et al., Bernard, A.R., Payton, M.A., and Wells, T.N., in 1996 in a paper entitled "The x-ray crystal structure of phosphomannose isomerase from Candida albicans at 1.7 angstrom resolution." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.7 Å and deposited in 1996.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of PHOSPHOMANNOSE ISOMERASE. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P34948 (MPI_CANAL)search. The sample contained 440 residues which is 100% of the natural sequence. Out of 440 residues 439 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
