STRUCTURE OF THE PI3K SH3 DOMAIN AND ANALYSIS OF THE SH3 FAMILY
The structure was published by Koyama, S., Yu, H., Dalgarno, D.C., Shin, T.B., Zydowsky, L.D., and Schreiber, S.L., in 1993 in a paper entitled "Structure of the PI3K SH3 domain and analysis of the SH3 family." (abstract).
The structure was determined using NMR spectroscopy and deposited in 1994.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was not deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of PHOSPHATIDYLINOSITOL 3-KINASE P85-ALPHA SUBUNIT SH3 DOMAIN. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P27986 (P85A_HUMAN). The sample contained 79 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 79 residues 76 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
