Crystal Structure of the EF3-CaM complexed with PMEApp
The structure was published by Shen, Y., Zhukovskaya, N.L., Zimmer, M.I., et al., Wang, C.R., Gibbs, C.S., and Tang, W.J., in 2004 in a paper entitled "Selective inhibition of anthrax edema factor by adefovir, a drug for chronic hepatitis B virus infection." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 3.3 Å and deposited in 2003.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
This PDB entry contains a complex of 2 biomacromolecules, namely Calmodulin-sensitive adenylate cyclase and Calmodulin.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule has more than one probable quaternary state observed. For more details see the quaternary structure page.
