The structure was published by Komoto, J., Yamada, T., Takata, Y., Markham, G.D., and Takusagawa, F., in 2004 in a paper entitled "Crystal structure of the s-adenosylmethionine synthetase ternary complex: a novel catalytic mechanism of s-adenosylmethionine synthesis from ATP and MET." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.5 Å and deposited in 2003.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was not deposited.
