Structure of autoinhibited p47phox
The structure was published by Groemping, Y., Lapouge, K., Smerdon, S.J., and Rittinger, K., in 2003 in a paper entitled "Molecular basis of phosphorylation-induced activation of the NADPH oxidase" (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.7 Å and deposited in 2002.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was not deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of Neutrophil cytosolic factor 1. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P14598 (NCF1_HUMAN). The sample contained 193 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 193 residues 176 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
