ESTROGEN RELATED RECEPTOR 2 DNA BINDING DOMAIN IN COMPLEX WITH DNA

The structure was published by Gearhart, M.D., Holmbeck, S.M.A., Evans, R.M., Dyson, H.J., and Wright, P.E., in 2003 in a paper entitled "Monomeric Complex of Human Orphan Estrogen Related Receptor-2 with DNA: A Pseudo-dimer Interface Mediates Extended Half-site Recognition" (abstract).

The structure was determined using NMR spectroscopy and deposited in 2002.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was not deposited.

This PDB entry contains a complex of 3 biomacromolecules, namely 5'-D(*GP*CP*TP*CP*AP*AP*GP*GP*TP*CP*AP*CP*G)-3', 5'-D(*CP*GP*TP*GP*AP*CP*CP*TP*TP*GP*AP*GP*C)-3', and Steroid hormone receptor ERR2.

It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.

The molecule most likely forms heterotrimers.
