THREE-DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURE OF A CYSTEINE-RICH REPEAT FROM THE LOW-DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN RECEPTOR

The structure was published by Daly, N.L., Scanlon, M.J., Djordjevic, J.T., Kroon, P.A., and Smith, R., in 1995 in a paper entitled "Three-dimensional structure of a cysteine-rich repeat from the low-density lipoprotein receptor." (abstract).

The structure was determined using NMR spectroscopy and deposited in 1995.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of LOW-DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN RECEPTOR. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P01130 (LDLR_HUMAN)search. The sample contained 48 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 48 residues 46 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
