The structure was published by Sintchak, M.D., Arjara, G., Kellogg, B.A., Stubbe, J., and Drennan, C.L., in 2002 in a paper entitled "The crystal structure of class II ribonucleotide reductase reveals how an allosterically regulated monomer mimics a dimer." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.75 Å and deposited in 2002.
