Solution structure of the third helix of Antennapedia homeodomain derivative [W6F,W14F]
The structure was published by Czajlik, A., Mesko, E., Penke, B., and Perczel, A., in 2002 in a paper entitled "Investigation of penetratin peptides. Part 1. The environment dependent conformational properties of penetratin and two of its derivatives." (abstract).
The structure was determined using NMR spectroscopy and deposited in 2002.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of Antennapedia protein. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P09089 (ZEN1_DROME). The sample contained 16 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 16 residues 16 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
