Crystal structure of nitrite soaked oxidized D98N AFNIR
The structure was published by Boulanger, M.J. and Murphy, M.E., in 2001 in a paper entitled "Alternate substrate binding modes to two mutant (D98N and H255N) forms of nitrite reductase from Alcaligenes faecalis S-6: structural model of a transient catalytic intermediate" (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.65 Å and deposited in 2001.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
This PDB entry contains multiple copies of the structure of COPPER-CONTAINING NITRITE REDUCTASE.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule most likely forms homotrimers.
