The structure was published by Andersson, M., Malmendal, A., Linse, S., Ivarsson, I., Forsen, S., and Svensson, L.A., in 1997 in a paper entitled "Structural basis for the negative allostery between Ca(2+)- and Mg(2+)-binding in the intracellular Ca(2+)-receptor calbindin D9k." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.5 Å and deposited in 2001.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
