CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF PHOSPHORYLATION-MIMICKING MUTANT T6D OF ANNEXIN IV

The structure was published by Kaetzel, M.A., Mo, Y.D., Mealy, T.R., et al., Brisson, A., Dedman, J.R., and Seaton, B.A., in 2001 in a paper entitled "Phosphorylation mutants elucidate the mechanism of annexin IV-mediated membrane aggregation." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.0 Å and deposited in 2001.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was not deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of ANNEXIN IV. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P13214 (ANXA4_BOVIN)search. The sample contained 318 residues which is 99% of the natural sequence. Out of 318 residues 308 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.

The molecule has more than one probable quaternary state observed. For more details see the quaternary structure page.
