CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF THE RAT ANDROGEN RECEPTOR LIGAND BINDING DOMAIN COMPLEX WITH DIHYDROTESTOSTERONE

The structure was published by Sack, J.S., Kish, K.F., Wang, C., et al., Krystek Jr., S.R., Weinmann, R., and Einspahr, H.M., in 2001 in a paper entitled "Crystallographic structures of the ligand-binding domains of the androgen receptor and its T877A mutant complexed with the natural agonist dihydrotestosterone." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.0 Å and deposited in 2001.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was not deposited.

The PDB entry contains the structure of ANDROGEN RECEPTOR. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P15207 (ANDR_RAT)search. The sample contained 260 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 260 residues 243 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.

It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.

The molecule is most likely monomeric.
