Yeast Mitochondrial Processing Peptidase

The structure was published by Taylor, A.B., Smith, B.S., Kitada, S., et al., Otwinowski, Z., Ito, A., and Deisenhofer, J., in 2001 in a paper entitled "Crystal structures of mitochondrial processing peptidase reveal the mode for specific cleavage of import signal sequences." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.5 Å and deposited in 2000.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
