OLIGOSACCHARIDE-BINDING TO FAMILY 11 XYLANASES: BOTH COVALENT INTERMEDIATE AND MUTANT-PRODUCT COMPLEXES DISPLAY 2,5B CONFORMATIONS AT THE ACTIVE-CENTRE

The structure was published by Sabini, E., Sulzenbacher, G., Dauter, M., et al., Dupont, C., Davies, G.J., and Wilson, K.S., in 1999 in a paper entitled "Catalysis and Specificity in Enzymatic Glycoside Hydrolysis: A 2,5B Conformation for the Glycosyl-Enzyme Intermediate Revealed by the Structure of the Bacillus Agaradhaerens Family 11 Xylanase." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.1 Å and deposited in 2001.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
