The structure was published by Eisenmesser, E.Z., Horita, D.A., Altieri, A.S., and Byrd, R.A., in 2001 in a paper entitled "Solution structure of interleukin-13 and insights into receptor engagement" (abstract).
The structure was determined using NMR spectroscopy and deposited in 2000.
