CRYSTAL STRUCTURE OF THE LIGAND BINDING DOMAIN OF THE ULTRASPIRACLE PROTEIN USP, THE ORTHOLOG OF RXRS IN INSECTS
The structure was published by Billas, I.M., Moulinier, L., Rochel, N., and Moras, D., in 2001 in a paper entitled "Crystal structure of the ligand-binding domain of the ultraspiracle protein USP, the ortholog of retinoid X receptors in insects." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.65 Å and deposited in 2000.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of ULTRASPIRACLE PROTEIN. This molecule has the UniProt identifier Q7SIF6 (Q7SIF6_HELVI). The sample contained 264 residues which is 100% of the natural sequence. Out of 264 residues 242 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
It also contains one or more heterogenic compounds (e.g., ligands, co-factors, ions, modified amino acids, etc.); see here for a complete list.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
