The structure was published by Shewchuk, L.M., Hassell, A.M., Ellis, B., et al., Kadwell, S.H., McKee, D.D., and Moore, J.T., in 2000 in a paper entitled "Structure of the Tie2 RTK domain: self-inhibition by the nucleotide binding loop, activation loop, and C-terminal tail." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.2 Å and deposited in 2000.
