The structure was published by Hollis, T., Ichikawa, Y., and Ellenberger, T., in 2000 in a paper entitled "DNA bending and a flip-out mechanism for base excision by the helix-hairpin-helix DNA glycosylase, Escherichia coli AlkA." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.5 Å and deposited in 1999.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was not deposited.
