The structure was published by Cheong, C.G., Escalante-Semerena, J.C., and Rayment, I., in 1999 in a paper entitled "The three-dimensional structures of nicotinate mononucleotide:5,6- dimethylbenzimidazole phosphoribosyltransferase (CobT) from Salmonella typhimurium complexed with 5,6-dimethybenzimidazole and its reaction products determined to 1.9 A resolution." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.9 Å and deposited in 1999.
