The structure was published by Gong, W., O'Gara, M., Blumenthal, R.M., and Cheng, X., in 1997 in a paper entitled "Structure of pvu II DNA-(cytosine N4) methyltransferase, an example of domain permutation and protein fold assignment." (abstract).
This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 2.8 Å and deposited in 1998.
