SOLUTION NMR STRUCTURE OF AMYLOID BETA[F16], RESIDUES 1-28, 15 STRUCTURES
The structure was published by Poulsen, S.-A., Watson, A.A., and Craik, D.J., in 2000 in a paper entitled "Solution structures in aqueous SDS micelles of two amyloid beta peptides of A beta(1-28) mutated at the alpha-secretase cleavage site (K16E, K16F)" (abstract).
The structure was determined using NMR spectroscopy and deposited in 1998.
The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
The PDB entry contains the structure of AMYLOID BETA-PEPTIDE. This molecule has the UniProt identifier P05067 (A4_HUMAN). The sample contained 28 residues which is < 90% of the natural sequence. Out of 28 residues 28 were observed and are deposited in the PDB.
The molecule is most likely monomeric.
