HEMOGLOBIN THIONVILLE: AN ALPHA-CHAIN VARIANT WITH A SUBSTITUTION OF A GLUTAMATE FOR VALINE AT NA-1 AND HAVING AN ACETYLATED METHIONINE NH2 TERMINUS

The structure was published by Vasseur, C., Blouquit, Y., Kister, J., et al., Poyart, C., Rosa, J., and Wajcman, H., in 1992 in a paper entitled "Hemoglobin Thionville. An alpha-chain variant with a substitution of a glutamate for valine at NA-1 and having an acetylated methionine NH2 terminus." (abstract).

This crystal structure was determined using X-ray diffraction at a resolution of 1.5 Å and deposited in 1992.

The experimental data on which the structure is based was also deposited.
