An EM Data Bank code will be issued only after:

  • all mandatory information has to be submitted
  • the depositor completes the submission process
  • the data passes minimum validation criteria

After the EM Data Bank code has been issued, submissions are annotated at the EM Data Bank processing site and the map is manually inspected. No entry will be released until the curated entry has been approved by the depositor.
