EMBO 2003 VenueEMBO Practical Course on Analysis and Informatics of Microarray Data 16-22, March 2003 (Copyright 1997-2003 BioInformer)
The course is organised by the European Bioinformatics Institute (an outstation of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory) under auspices of EMBO and will be held in the conference facilities at the Wellcome Trust Genome Campus in the grounds of Hinxton Hall, near Cambridge, UK. Facilities include a purpose built 300 seat auditorium plus over-flow rooms with full AV capabilities and a covered cloister area with networked computers for the use by delegates in the presentation of posters. There are also additional private meeting rooms, if delegates wish to continue discussions. It is worth noting that the Wellcome Trust Genome Campus is located in the countryside. For shopping or other entertainment it is necessary to go to Cambridge city centre. Getting to the Genome CampusThe EBI and conference centre are located on the Wellcome Trust Genome Campus at Hinxton, near Cambridge, UK. Despite our Cambridge address, we are actually about 9 miles from the centre of Cambridge in new buildings built in the grounds of an old country house, Hinxton Hall. The campus, which is owned by the Wellcome Trust, currently hosts the EBI, The Sanger Institute, and the MRC Human Genome Mapping Resource Centre, as well as conference facilities and accommodation. Full details of travel information (including roadmaps) is available on the EBI site, as well as information on the Genome Campus itself. ![]() |
