Literature ServicesLiterature Services develops free public resources based on scientific literature, including bibliographic databases such as MEDLINE/PubMed and full-text databases such as PubMedCentral and patents. Links to full-text articles are provided, typically via DOIs, and cross-references to biological databases such as UniProt, EMBL, PDBe and InterPro maintained.These resources are exposed publicly through the CiteXplore search engine, which integrates text-mining functions from Whatizit to build links to biological concepts and the underlying databases of proteins, genes and gene ontology. The Literature Services is headed by Johanna McEntyre. |
