IPD-MHC Database

It is essential to have a consistent and universal nomenclature for MHC alleles, and to facilitate this, a Feline MHC Nomenclature Committee is currently been established. This committee will review all nucleotide sequences as they are produced and assigns appropriate allele names.

We have listed all the currently known alleles. New nomenclature is used where possible, and tables of previous equivalents are given. Accession numbers and references for published sequences are listed.
