Submission Tool

The IPD-KIR Submission Tool allows direct submission of sequences to the KIR Nomenclature Committee. Once accepted the submitted sequence will be stored in the database and appear in the published updates.

Please read the full guidelines for submitting a new or confirmatory sequence before starting the submission procedure.
Please follow the instructions provided and do not use national characters like é, ó or í or carriage returns (<cr>).
If you do not have a Submittor ID please complete the form below in full as part of a submission, simply completing the section below is not sufficient. You will only receive a unique Submittor ID once your first completed submission has been received. Therefore you must complete the entire submission process before your Submittor ID can be assigned.

Returning Submitters

If you have previously submitted sequences online to any of the IPD components or the IMGT/HLA Database you will have received a unique Submittor ID. The ID is an 8-digit code comprising 5 numbers, a letter and 2 further numbers, it is not the HWS number or IWS number issued during the submission process.

New Submitters

If you do not have a Submitter ID please complete the form below in full as part of a submission, simply completing the section below is not sufficient. You will only receive a unique IPD Submitter ID once your first completed submission has been received and processed. Therefore you must complete the entire submission process before your Submitter ID can be assigned. The submission ID is not a means of attributing a sequence to an individual, the opportunity for this is any publication, rather to provide a contact should further information be required.
