Submission Tool

The IPD-KIR Submission Tool allows direct submission of sequences to the KIR Nomenclature Committee. Once accepted the submitted sequence will be stored in the database and appear in the published updates.

  • Please read the full guidelines for submitting a new or confirmatory sequence before starting the submission procedure.
  • Please follow the instructions provided and do not use national characters like é, ó or í or carriage returns (<cr>).
  • If you do not have a Submittor ID please complete the form below in full as part of a submission, simply completing the section below is not sufficient. You will only receive a unique Submittor ID once your first completed submission has been received. Therefore you must complete the entire submission process before your Submittor ID can be assigned.
  • If you have any problems or queries please contact IPD Support.

Returning Submitters

If you have previously submitted sequences online to any of the IPD components or the IMGT/HLA Database you will have received a unique Submittor ID. The ID is an 8-digit code comprising 5 numbers, a letter and 2 further numbers, it is not the HWS number or IWS number issued during the submission process.
