Description

This is the N-terminal domain found in Nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT) present in Homo sapiens. NAMPT captures nicotinamide (NAM) and replenish the nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) pool during ADP-ribosylation and transferase reactions [PMID: 19819904].
