Tyrosine-protein kinase CSK (IPR035026)

Short name: CSK

Overlapping homologous superfamilies

Family relationships

CSK is a kinase that catalyzes phosphorylation of the tail tyrosine site in Src kinase. Similar to Src, it contains an SH2 domain, an SH3 domain and the tyrosine kinase domain (SH1, Src homology 1 domain). The SH2 domain binds phosphotyrosine-containing peptide sequences, while the SH3 domain interacts with type II polyproline (PPII) helix ligand [PMID: 14580561].
