The Rel homology domain (RHD) is composed of two structural domains, an N-terminal DNA-binding domain (IPR011539) and a C-terminal dimerisation domain. This is the dimerisation domain [PMID: 17869269].

This domain can be found in both nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFAT) and nuclear factor kappa-B (NFkB), which are RHD-containing transcription factors [PMID: 11344309].
