Description

Tubulin polymerisation-promoting protein family member 3 (TPPP3, also known as p20) belongs to the TPPP family [PMID: 23166627]. It is an intrinsically unstructured protein that induces tubulin polymerisation. It attaches to microtubules (MTs) causing MT bundling both in vitro and in vivo [PMID: 17105200]. It is involved in developmental processes of the musculoskeletal system [PMID: 19235716].
