Family relationships

Rho GTPase-activating protein 6 (RhoGAP6, also known as ARHGAP6) is both a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) with specificity for RhoA and a cytoskeletal protein that promotes actin remodelling [PMID: 10699171]. It binds to and upregulates phospholipase C-delta, indicating a role for ARHGAP6 in enhanced activity of phospholipase C in hypertension [PMID: 18434237].
