Short name: TP53INP1

Family relationships

Description

Tumor protein p53-inducible nuclear protein 1 (TP53INP1) is a tumour suppressor that modulates the p53 response to stress [PMID: 24608790]. It has antiproliferative and proapoptotic activites and may play an important role in cellular homeostasis and DNA damage response [PMID: 23717325]. It acts as a dual regulator of transcription and autophagy [PMID: 11511362].
