Voltage-dependent calcium channel gamma-like subunit (IPR029372)

Short name: Tmem37

Family relationships

Voltage-dependent calcium channel gamma-like subunit (also known as Tmem37) has a role in stabilising the calcium channel in an inactivated (closed) state. It is a subunit of the L-type calcium channels that modulate calcium current when coexpressed with CACNA1G (calcium channel, voltage-dependent, T type, alpha 1G subunit) [PMID: 10734232].
