Domain relationships

Chromatin assembly factor 1 subunit A (CAF1 subunit A or subunit p150) is a core component of the CAF-1 complex, a complex thought to mediate chromatin assembly in DNA replication and DNA repair [PMID: 17065558]. CAF1 comprises three evolutionarily conserved subunits, named after their apparent molecular weights (human CAF1 is composed of p150, p60, and p48) [PMID: 8858152]. This entry represents the C-terminal domain of CAF-1 subunit p150, which is part of the binding region to the p60 subunit [PMID: 12697822, PMID: 21209461].
