Transcription factor 7 (IPR028785)

Short name: Tcf7

Family relationships

Transcription factor 7 (Tcf7), also referred to by the symbol Tcf1, is a transcriptional activator involved in T-cell lymphocyte differentiation [PMID: 9462507]. It is necessary for the survival of CD4+ CD8+ immature thymocytes [PMID: 11477404]. Tcf7 has multiple isoforms, and there is functional differences between these isoforms [PMID: 7640309, PMID: 8622675].
