Filamin A (IPR028559)

Short name: FLN_A

Family relationships

Filamin family consists of Filamin-A (FLN-A), Filamin-B (FLN-B) and Filamin-C (FLN-C). They are a group of actin binding proteins that may be involved in actin microfilaments organisation [PMID: 15516996].

FLN-A may be involved in in the normal processes of ciliogenesis and basal body positioning [PMID: 22121117].
