Ligand-dependent nuclear receptor-interacting factor 1 (IPR026191)

Short name: LRIF1

Family relationships

Ligand-dependent nuclear receptor-interacting factor 1 (LRIF1) was initially identified as a protein that interacts with retinoic acid receptors and other nuclear receptors [PMID: 17455211]. The protein has been shown to repress the ligand-induced transcriptional activity of retinoic acid receptor alpha. Its repression activity is mediated at least in part through direct recruitment of histone deacetylases [PMID: 17455211].
