Family relationships

Golgi membrane protein 1 (GOLM1) is a Golgi-localised protein that is upregulated by viral infection [PMID: 10831838], but whose precise function is unknown. It is related to the cancer susceptibility candidate 4 protein.

GOLM1 is Induced by the E1A adenoviral protein, specifically by the CtBP interaction domain (CID) of E1A, which is located in the C-terminal region of the protein [PMID: 12029628].
