Domain

CLASP N-terminal domain (IPR024395)

Short name: CLASP_N_dom

Domain relationships

None.

Description

This domain is found in the N-terminal region of CLIP-associated proteins (CLASPs), which are widely conserved microtubule plus-end-tracking proteins that regulate the stability of dynamic microtubules [PMID: 16951255, PMID: 16914514]. The domain is also found in other proteins involved in microtubule binding, including STU1, MOR1 and spindle pole body component Alp14.
